Personal passions/hobbies:

Just started gardening. Horse riding when I find time to go.

Favourite aspect of working in the veterinary industry:

Helping people - helping people's furry family members stay happy and healthy and helping my staff achieve personal goals.


A cat Jinxy and Australian Mist, who sometimes moonlights at the clinic, our working dog Lindsay the kelpie and our new puppy Nutmeg a golden Labrador .


I went to school in Cairns and Longreach and completed my Bachelor of Veterinary Science at University of Queensland in St Luica. Along with improving my skills I like to keep up with the latest studies and techniques of procedures to be able to provide the best standards of care. To do this I continue to take on a variety of continuing education courses including:

  • Preg Testing
  • Equine Dentistry
  • Orthopaedics
  • Stifle Surgery
  • Ultrasonography
  • Reconstructive Techniques
  • Many more

Personal passions/ hobbies:

I like going to the beach, camping, fishing, reading and craft and time spent with family and friends.

Favourite aspect of working in the veterinary industry:

The variety - not knowing what could walk in at any moment. Helping people and their animals everyday.


Family pets - 2 Tenterfield terriers - Lilly and Banjo and Chief the turtle.

Dreams/ goals:

To work in mixed practice for a few years, I would love to get some good experience at home then work overseas whilst travelling.

I like working with animals, playing sport/ water sports, camping and catching up with friends. 

Favourite aspect of working in the veterinary industry:

It's a profession where any day can surprise you and is filled with a great network of supportive colleagues.

Finished high school in 2011 and graduated from JCUs Bachelor of Veterinary Science in 2016.

Dreams / goals: 

To build my skills over the years and eventually be able to use my profession to assist animal welfare in poorer communities and improve food animal  production in needed areas.
