Ben owned his first animal at 5 years of age when his parents bought him two Budgies- Bluey and Charlie. Since then, he has raised, cared for and loved countless animals of just about every species imaginable. He entered into his dream industry as a hydrobath helper, and has since been focused on expanding his animal-based horizons and engagement in the veterinary world. His passion for animals shines through his dedication at work and beyond to providing them every opportunity to live their best lives. With his desire to further increase his competencies in animal care, Ben undertook and completed his Certificate IV in Animal Studies in 2022.  These days Ben is a dedicated and incredibly capable Veterinary Nurse and Practice Manager within the team at our vet clinic. Whether it be small animals, large animals, exotics or wildlife fields, Ben is always keen to engage in continuing education opportunities.  

At home, Ben’s pet menagerie consists of 3 dogs, 1 cat, numerous chickens, ducks and cows. When he is not surrounded by animals (however short these moments may be!) Ben enjoys getting out socially and enjoying the great outdoors. He finds his inner calm in going for a long drive in his beloved 4×4 and exploring far-flung towns and places. 

Rest assured Ben will go the extra mile for both clients and their dearest fur babies in whatever form may be required. His calm and warm demeanour with clients and commitment to providing the best for each pet that walks/flies/hops or crawls in our door demonstrates the big heart we all love Ben for!
