STANTHORPE VET CARE

Dr. Cecilia Campbell BSc BVT BVSc

Dr Cecilia has dedicated the past decade to her career as a veterinary nurse/veterinary technician, showcasing her unwavering commitment to animal care. In 2022, she proudly obtained her Bachelor of Veterinary Science degree from James Cook University in Townsville.

Passionate about helping animals and their owners, Dr Cecilia finds fulfilment in the dynamic nature of veterinary work, where each day brings new challenges and experiences. Her time as an Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) nurse in Townsville further fueled her enthusiasm for this field. However, Dr Cecilia cherishes all aspects of general practice and eagerly anticipates the opportunity to expand her knowledge and skills.

During her leisure time, Dr Cecilia can be found indulging in various hobbies, such as tending to her garden, cooking up a storm in the kitchen, strumming the guitar, or enjoying quality moments with friends, family, and her beloved pets.

Speaking of pets, Dr Cecilia shares her home with a few spoilt pets including Bob, an energetic Kelpie, and three adorable cats named Luna, Squishy, and Marigold—the well known ex-clinic cat. Dr Cecilia has also acquired 12 beautiful alpacas and looks to start breeding these beautiful creatures in the future.

Having completed a remarkable journey with Stanthorpe Vet Care from work experience student to vet nurse to vet student, Dr Cecilia feels an overwhelming sense of joy and accomplishment as she returns to Stanthorpe Vet Care, completing the full circle. She describes reuniting with her dedicated team as a dream come true, filled with anticipation for the incredible opportunities that lie ahead.
